Caterpillar

WARMTH, MELODY, CHARMING, DISARMING

One of two concept albums, written, recorded, and performed by Scott Mannion and Li-Ming Hu (better known in New Zealand for her role in a certain early evening medical drama). Caterpillar is a more acoustic, reflective, and less polished affair than it's companion album, Butterfly, but with soaring string arrangements and caressing melodies it is utterly charming. Caterpillar also features a duet with The Brunettes’ Heather Mansfield – “Love Done Me No Good”, and artwork by now famous Auckland artist Misery.

Released by Lil’ Chief Records on July 28, 2003
