I grew up in Mexico during the 90s/2000s. Traveling around all over made me realize that people's reasons to get into punk are not always the same. And I feel that those reasons and that introduction you had determines that role that you assume in our community. A lot of times I encountered the ignorant question, "is there punk in Mexico?" If you ask that, it's because you've never been there of even bothered to look it up. Mexico has one of the largest punk communities in the world and even though it has changed significantly, it's still really strong and growing.
