"Faithful to the Unfaithful"

Based on 2nd Timothy 2:11-13

The essence of ephraim can be summed up by the simple statement Faithful to the Unfaithful. These few words are straight to the point and are the heart of our message. Although we are unfaithful, God will always remain faithful.
2nd Timothy 2:11-13 says “The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.
*The verses moves from comfort to challenge and back to comfort: is a reminder of life even in the face of death; calls for perseverance; is a reminder of God's preserving power and faithfulness. In this context, to deny him must entail a more serious offense than being faithless. Denying Christ envisions final apostasy, in contrast with a temporary lapse in trusting Christ (“if we are faithless”). Those who deny Jesus will be judged forever; but all believers sin, and God is faithful and will pardon, restore, and keep those who are truly his.
