Brown & White Ragg Handspun: Llama/Wool plied with Llama/Mohair raised in the USA.
Yardage: 79 yards on a 3.15 ounce skein
Suggested Gauge: Heavy Worsted
Suggested Uses: This is McRanch fibers processed under the "Spin a Pound Get a Pound" project. The spinner is Patti Robinson and done very nicely. It is a 2 ply yarn from mixed fibers. It is super soft and rather easy to felt. The yarn could be used for knitting crochet, weaving, scrapbooking, tassels, doll making etc. The natural colors would make a nice dyeing experiment. Don't have access to dyes? Try using vinegar and Wilton's cake gel. Just simmer for about 45 minutes. It can be added in a Fair Isle pattern. Or use it in a scribble scarf. If used in a felting project, the llama will make it felt nice and fast. There were three skeins spun from this batch of wool.
US Shipping and handling are included in the listing price.
