Recycled Sari Silk Yarn Blue

This yarn is made from 100% recycled silk yarn left over during the sari manufacturing process. To make these solid colored skeins, the fibres are sorted into specific colors and handspun to create this slightly fuzzy yarn. There could be a few strands of other colors mixed in these solid skeins only adding to the vibrancy and texture of the yarn.

Recycled sari silk yarn is slightly bulky so it knits up really quick. It is best used for projects where fit is not important. So it is ideal for scarves, neck warmers, cowls, shawls, stoles, bags, pouches and scarves. The finished knit or crocheted product will have a strong and firm quality and at the same time has a soft and slightly fuzzy texture.
