The original drawings were done using Chinese calligraphy ink on Strathmore Artists Trading Cards. These are the printed reproductions. For game designers, these can be used as stand-ins for card game prototypes.
The ancient warriors include Late Roman soldiers/officers, European army men of the Dark Ages, Sengoku Japanese soldiers, Ming/Qing dynasty Chinese generals, etc.
(The price is fairly high because it is printed in small runs only, not by the thousands.)
