A Note from the director:
Whenever I listen to ARADHNA, I see pictures.

Sometimes they are simple abstract shapes and colors moving about, and other times they are complete scenes with characters and dramatic storylines.
Sau Guna is an effort to refine and realize some of these daydreams in a way that will engender an even greater appreciation for the music and message contained within. While none of the videos are meant to be literal transcriptions of the songs, they will hopefully give the viewer clues as to the spirit behind the content of each composition, and open up new possibilities for understanding the cultural and spiritual dialogue that ARADHNA has always worked hard to inspire. This is why you will find the visuals as stacking metaphors upon the foundation of the given song, rather than illustrations of the lyrics themselves.
The title Sau Guna is a Hindi term meaning “hundred-fold.” This is the overarching theme that has emerged in the process of producing all six videos as a set. The idea of abundance, bounty, God’s boon for the world – these are all notes from the original conversations I had with ARADHNA before a single song was recorded for the new album and certainly before I ever turned on the camera. And yet the spirit of Sau Guna has carried this project along to its completion. From the 13 days of miraculous provisions during the India shoot to the incredible generosity of ARADHNA fans around the world, Sau Guna is our humble testimony that will hopefully find its way to those who need it most.
