Unteachers is the brainchild of the former "Tantrum Of The Muse" songwriter, Stephen Mark Sarro.
With Unteachers, Sarro crafts intelligent songs that mirror his uncompromising faith in Jesus Christ, using various
forms of noisy rock and roll to tell his story.
Unteachers ranges from the prog-rock "thinking man's music" of early Peter Gabriel, Rush or King Crimson, to the
heaviness of sludge/doom
rock of bands like Melvins, Karp, Neurosis, with a dark atmosphere reminiscent of The Cure, Swans or Cranes to name a
few.
Joining Stephen, is Travis Turner (formerly of Crutch/Aletheian) on drums, and Josh Kale on both fretless and standard
bass, both bringing an incredible technical edge to the fold, allowing Unteachers to reach more aggressive territory.

Unteachers have a full-length LP coming out later this year on Veritas Vinyl and Vinyl Remains.

Grace and Thieves was birthed in the gutters of Salem, Or, in the late nineties. Taking cues from old school hardcore
acts like Neurosis, Dead and Gone, The Crucied, His Hero is Gone, and combining them with the darker heavier side of
Black Sabbath and even Metallica the group quickly formed a style that was unique and blatantly aggressive and
moody. With intelligent, meaningful lyrics and an intense live show, a patron at a local show was quoted commenting
on Grace & Thieves performance saying "Wow, that was emotionally disturbing - I think in a good way." The tag stuck
and their self induced style of "Emotionally Disturbing Hardcore" was born.
G.A.T. Has a Split LP and a 7" coming out later this year on Veritas Vinyl.
