Cherry Bomb Zine #3 - A Riot Grrrl Submissions Based Zine

The third issue of Cherry Bomb includes topics such as the portrayal of women in the media, street harassment, the choice to not wear makeup, madness and one’s period, double standards of beauty, learning to identify with feminism, discovering one’s homosexuality, comparison, sexuality and breasts, as well as poetry, art and more! This is also the biggest issue yet at 22 pages.

Inspired by the Riot Grrrl scene, Cherry Bomb is a place where girls and women can submit their stories, art, poetry and rants, find themselves in the art of others and join together without feeling ashamed, marginalized or discriminated against. Cherry Bomb features submissions from girls and women throughout the world including France, England, the United States and various provinces throughout Canada. Proceeds from Cherry Bomb go towards future printings and enable girls and women who don’t have the resources to purchase a copy to be mailed one free of charge.
