On August 13, 2012 - Seattle, WA and the Pacific Northwest lost an icon, a beautiful and courageous woman with a vibrant smile. After a 14 year battle with Meningioma {brain tumors}, Kathi Goertzen passed away. She was a news anchor at KOMO News where she worked for 30 years - www.komonews.com. Kathi started the Kathi Goertzen Foundation, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to fund brain tumor research and find a cure!
