Recycled Paper Bead Earrings - Blue & Gray

These beautiful earrings were resurrected from a simple sheet of unwanted/used office paper.

THE PROCESS:
First I hand decorate each strip of paper prior to rolling. This step helps me get the pattern just right for each individual bead. Once I roll the strips I then hand coat each bead with an acrylic lacquer and a very small art brush to prevent an uneven coating. I then let them dry on individual toothpicks to avoid any defects and/or sticking that may occur when done in larger batches. This process can take up a bit of time since I make sure that each bead gets a minimum of three coats in order to ensure lasting durability.

**Please keep in mind that the lacquer makes the beads water resistant and not water proof- take care not to get them too wet in order to maintain the integrity of the beads!**
