Cocoon was recorded in a cabin in Tillamook, Oregon and at the Framptons house in St. George, Utah. It was fully funded by Meg & Dia and all songs were written, recorded, and produced by Meg & Dia. Cocoon is proudly manufactured and distributed independently.

This album is brilliant. You can definitely hear the growth and maturer indie/folk sound to the band... It has the sweetness, lightness, bitterness, and Tom Petty-esque, jam-sesh-ness quality I love of this band!! I found myself rocking and swaying to every single song and realized I sat in my chair for hours listening to the CD... I loved it (and them) that much.
