These heavy-buckle boot-style shoes are inked in contrasting styles to accent the Rock and Roll theme. The right shoe is rockin’ and hot with a red-hot rendering of a sacred heart with angel’s wings. The left shoe is rollin’ softly with a blossoming long stem rose. In addition, the left shoe is accented with a three-part banner that reads “Rock N Roll”, just in case some moron couldn’t tell you were ready to rock out in these bad kicks!

I N S P I R A T I O N:
The Sacred Heart is a rendering of a tattoo I found online, and I added the wings to make it contour to the shape of the shoe. The clashing theme of Rock vs. Roll gave me the idea for something softer on the other shoe. However, every rose has its thorns, so don’t expect the left foot to deliver any less ass-kicking awesomeness than the rockin’ right foot. Rock on in these monster kicks!

M A T E R I A L S:
Shoes (Lower East Side brand, size 7 USA, 39 EUR, 5 1/2 UK); acrylic paint

C A R E:
Wipe clean with slightly damp cloth.
Do not scrub, as paint may scuff.
Allow to dry naturally.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not apply colored polish to inked areas as it may damage the art.

N O T E that all paint fades over time. The more wears and washes, the more fading may occur. Scuffing will occur in the painted areas, just as it will during the normal wear-and-tear of any leather-ish piece of footwear. If you kick things with these boots/shoes, you will lose your art – the paint doesn’t make them indestructible.
