Each playing card contains a challenge, or "Trek" to accomplish when you travel.

Each card represents the possibility for an amazing and meaningful adventure. Each trek is designed to get you to explore the world in a way that is more authentic and meaningful.

For example, if you choose to accomplish the trek, "Cook a local dish" in Italy, you might find yourself in a local farmer's market, cooking with other travelers you meet at the hostel, or even end up being invited to dinner by a local Italian family! That is the kind of traveling I want to encourage.

How do I use them?

The simplest way is to just pick out a random card and accomplish the Trek! The treks are a great way to explore your new location.

An even better way to use them would be to start a card game at a hostel, invite other travelers to play with you, and before you know it, you will all be reading the treks on the cards and on your way to an amazing group adventure.

TrekDek playing cards are also fully functional as a regular deck of cards. My favorite game to play on the road is "Egyptian RatScrew."
