• What is Mau Works?

  Mau Works is a line of affordable handmade knitted and crocheted products. Custom items are also available with your choice in size, color and pattern. All items are crafted in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  We sure do! Please understand that Mau Works is not responsible for any duties or charges customs may have. During inspection, your package may be opened. All orders will be marked as merchandise not as gifts.

• The item I want is sold out...

  Don't Worry! Simply contact Mau Works and we will let you know as soon as the item is back in stock. Remember, custom items are always available but are made to order so delivery may take longer.

• How do I order a custom item?

  There are a couple of ways to order custom items. One option is to select the "Custom" variant under an item you would like and leave a detailed comment on the checkout page with the specifications of your custom order. However if you would like to see the item before you pay a dime, this second option might be best for you. Simple message Mau Works with the details of an item you would like, the item will then be created and a photo of the item will be emailed to you (at no charge). If you like the item, it will be added to the store and then can be purchased. If you do not like the item, it is not a problem, you will not have to purchase the item.

• Where does this store ship from?

  Summer (May - August): Randolph, MA, USA Fall - Spring (September - April): Kingston, RI, USA

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Once payment is received, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks. Please understand that custom items are made to order and delivery time may vary. Feel free to contact Mau Works before placing any orders for an estimated delivery date.

• What is this store's return and exchange policy?

  Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you wish to return an item, it may be refunded (less shipping) or exchanged for the same item at no additional cost. However, if an item is cancelled within 24 hours of purchase or if the item is found to be defected, a full refund will be given. All returns must be received like new (never worn, washed, etc) in order to get a refund. Socks/Booties/Slippers/Warmers CANNOT be returned/refunded. Please contact Mau Works if there is any confusion with sizing. All returns must be received by Mau Works within fifteen (15) business days of receipt. Feel free to contact Mau Works with any specific questions or concerns.

• Who is behind Mau Works?

  All items are handcrafted by designer, Maureen. Maureen is currently a college student majoring in Chemistry and French aspiring to be an international research chemist. When she's not completing lab reports or speaking french, she loves to design, knit and crochet.
