My copper piece is changing colors, what can I do?
Copper can quickly oxidize over time, especially pieces that come in contact with skin. It's a natural process for this metal. The good news is that it's super easy to clean up your copper. Here's what you can do: Dab a bit of ketchup on a cotton cloth, spread it over the piece you want to clean, wait a few minutes and rinse off.
I've tried this technique myself and what I like about it is that you can decide how shiny you want the copper. If you'd like to maintain some of that oxidized, rustic look, just rinse off the ketchup when it reaches the desired look.
