What is this store's return and exchange policy?
Everything:
("Artwork" refers to all items in the shop)
If you are dissatisfied with your artwork for any reason I do offer a money back (less shipping costs) guarantee if paid via Paypal or credit card. At this time I offer no refunds for transactions via personal check or money order. If you are dissatisfied with your artwork upon receipt, you must contact me (via email) within 24-36 hours of receipt of artwork so that I may authorize the return. Artwork must be mailed back within 5 business days in the same condition you received it in. I will issue a full refund for purchase price minus shipping costs to you upon my receipt of the artwork. I can not be responsible for loss of items in the post when shipped from the purchaser to myself; delivery confirmation is a cheap way of making sure the piece gets back where it belongs.
I offer no warranty on artwork; however I use only the best quality materials available to me. With proper care it will last a lifetime or longer. If you have trouble with anything I am happy to help you but I do not offer any refunds for artwork that is improperly cared for.
Jewelry (specifically):
I offer no warranty on my jewelry items. They are carefully hand made with love and the best quality craftsmanship possible, however they are genuinely hand-made. The are made with nothing more than my fingers tiny pliers. My jewelry is made to last decades with gentle wear and loving handling- however I must emphasize that it is a delicate piece. No soldering nor casting were used in creating it so it cannot be ‘worried’ along its chain, played with, worn to bed, chewed on, or otherwise handled roughly. Many of the stones I work with due to their beauty also tend to be fragile (opal, labradorite, moonstone) and can scratch or fracture. Because the genuine silver wire I work with is soft enough to shape with my fingers, it can be malformed if handled roughly. With proper care my pieces are made to last (my mother has worn hers daily for over 4 years now with no problems) but due to the nature of being handmade with no solders or casting, I cannot offer a warranty on it.
Note: If returning an item because of loss of interest, or if you change your mind, or if you decide you don't like it after all, see below re: restocking fee.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes! I am happy to ship my pendants almost anywhere in the world. I am happy to ship my other artworks as well, but please contact me for a custom shipping cost.
For those that have customs / duty taxes: Please note that I am honest on customs forms and cannot mark the item as a 'gift' for you, and will mark the item at actual value.
Important note: Insurance is NOT included on international shipments. If insurance is important to you please contact me for a shipping quote; insured international shipments must be sent via a special service and it costs quite a bit more.

Will you hold an item for me?
If an item is over $50.00 I can sometimes hold the item, but only if a 20% down payment can be placed. The item will then be marked as sold, and the remaining balance is to be paid within twenty (20) days of placing the down payment. Unless agreed otherwise, down payments are non-refundable and any item not paid for in full within the agreed amount of time (unless agreed otherwise it is twenty days), the down payment will be forfeited by the customer and the item will again be placed up for sale. Only Paypal and credit cards are accepted for down payments.
Due to multiple problems in the past, I will no longer hold any items without some sort of down payment.
If you wish to hold an item please contact me directly.
-
Do you take payments?
For items over $200 I will accept multiple payments over a period of time (no more than 60 days) if a customer wishes. Please contact me directly to discuss a payment plan if interested. A down payment (see above) is required to initially hold the item unless otherwise agreed to.

How long will it take to receive my order?
For domestic (within the USA) orders I attempt to process and ship within 1-3 business days. Pendants ship quickly while framed artwork sometimes requires a custom box be built and may be more delayed. International shipments usually can only be sent once per week so there may be a shipping delay of up to 6 days.
Once shipped most domestic (within the USA) orders take anywhere from 3 to 12 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service and your physical distance from NY state. Priority shipping within the USA takes approximately 2-3 business days once shipped. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
-
Do I have to sign for my shipment?
If you are in the USA and you order more than $200 worth of items, then Signature Confirmation is mandatory with shipping. You will need to sign for your shipment either at the Post Office or when your mail-person attempts to deliver to your address. Any items returned to me because of failure to pick up will be re-shipped only at the customer's expense. If this causes you a problem please let me know before I ship your item(s)!

How accurate are the photos?
Colors may display differently on your screen than how they appear in person. Every screen displays colors a little differently. Especially jewelry that has iridescence or color-play in the stone (such as opal, labradorite, moonstone ammonite, etc) are nearly impossible to capture properly in a photo as the colors shift. I try my best to accurately represent my work and do not ‘enhance’ photos. All photos are taken in natural lighting only. Due to the nature of iridescent stones, they may appear different in artificial light. If you have any questions please do let me know. If you wish to see additional photos of any item I would be glad to send them to you, please email me.
Also, many of the photos are ‘larger than life’ to show detail. Depending on your screen resolution they may be much larger than the actual item. Please note dimensions carefully so that you may understand the true size of the item.

Do you take commissions for artwork?
Sorry! At this time I do not have time to take personal commissioned work.
-
Do you take on commissions for custom jewelry work?
I must be very clear that I do not follow patterns or plan out my jewelry pieces in advance. I work with each stone in a way that speaks to me best. Therefore, specific commissions just won't work! If you have a very specific idea, design, or look in mind that you want, I am not your artist for jewelry. However if you are open to my inspiration and understand that each piece is unique then you are welcome to contact me. I work ONLY with Argentium Sterling Silver so if you are seeking a gold, copper or any other metal commission, you are best to seek elsewhere!

One of your pendants that I wanted is sold. Will you make another just like it?
My pendants are all one of a kind. The stones I work with tend to be very individualistic and further I follow no pattern when I work. Once a piece is sold, it is gone! That said, sometimes I can make a piece that is somewhat like an old one. If you don't mind artistic vision and variation in each piece you can contact me and I can see what I can do for you.

If I don't like something and want to return it, may I?
Yes-- I want you to be happy. If you are unhappy with an item or have changed your mind, you may return it within 5 business days of receipt. Please see the return and exchange policy above.
If you return an item with a value over $50.00 for any reason other than damage or being not as described, a 10% restocking fee will be issued. This is not a penalty, but rather a recouping of lost funds by the artist for time, packing materials, transaction fees, etc.
