Going on Vacation...

Cobaltraven posted July 05, 2011 09:53

is there a better way to let my customers know other than just hiding my store?
I'm going to be in Boston from the 20th to the 28th, (yey!), and have let a portion of my customers and clients know but I'm concerned about new people.

Should I leave my store open post a notice and write an e-mail to anyone who orders? I can still do tarot while I'm away, but cannot ship products.

What do you guys think?

I think it's best to leave it as a 'NOTICE' on your description section of your store. That way you'd be able to let any current and/or prospective customers know you're away (and still are able to do tarot) without having to totally shut down the store during that time.

Hope that helps and have a great time in Boston!

Thank you! You're so right. If anyone orders anything other than the tarot while I'm gone I'll just have to shoot them a message and let them know of the delay.

Thanks Emmtee! I'm excited, I've never been before. Plus being a witch I'm stoked about Salem. I have a few other paranormal author friends who are in the area too...can't wait!
