I've been on here for several months and I JUST made my first sale about 45 minutes ago. Sometimes it takes a while, just make sure you keep listing items, updating tags, and shamelessly advertise on Facebook, Tumblr, twitter, etc.
ALWAYS look for people to follow on Tumblr and Twitter that have an interest in what you're selling because 9 times out of 10 they will follow you back. Facebook is a little harder to work with, depending on how you use it.

I read on this website that in the near future, Storenvy will begin driving web traffic to the marketplace in much the same way eBay does. It goes on to say that Storenvy may charge a 3% transaction fee for sales made through the marketplace as a result of these efforts. When this happens, I say that a lot of us will definitely be seeing more sales than in the past. Another thing that would help us is if we had a ratings system for each store in which the customer could rate the store and their experience just like how eBay allows customers to rate sellers. Part of what keeps people from making that leap from browser to buyer is trust issues.
