Just Started, need HElP!

Hi, I just started and wanted to gather some information, and what better place to ask they were many others like myself are? I just wanted your opinions and thoughts on the following:

Who and where do you get your prints from?

Same for shirts, meaning blanks and brands?

Do you believe in using your own website, or running it through here/any other site?

    Hey welcome to Storenvy!

Answer to your first question is , I print my own t-shirts, & design my own tees. MSG me on Facebook if you need print work/designing.

I think having your own website is a good practice & will benefit your brand. But at the same time, having an online store & a community based buying/selling environment is great for sales & making new friends and customers.

Good luck to you ! Be blessed

Hey! Thanks for answering, I guess I should edit this post and say I meant where you got the shirt blank and what brand you prefer.

I will definently contact you! Also, thanks for you input on the website topic.

In my case, the storenvy site is simply a retail extension of my actual website [ http://www.7hells.com ], so my suggestion is to evaluate how much of the focus is going to be on selling products and how much is going to be building a brand or providing an experience that the products are inspired by.

I'm assuming when you talk prints you're talking about giclee prints (or in english, inkjet prints).

For both prints and t-shirts, I have them made. For small runs or orders it may be in your best interest to do your own, but I don't have the time to personally manufacture any real volume of products, and ordering in a healthy volume makes the cost per unit incredibly tiny.

For prints, any service bureau or art supply store that can guarantee archival inks and a selection of high-end paper stocks is going to be fine. There are usually regular printing deals going around when you pay attention to the places that offer printing.

For t-shirt blanks, I cruise clothing stores that carry similar shirts and check the tags to identify the shirts I like to match later.
