Hello Handcrafters! Everyone organizes their lives and stores differently, so how do you organize your work space? Where do you do your best work? Do you have a whole room or studio dedicated to the craft, or do you (like me) use that spare inch of desk next to the keyboard? Post your pics and show off your stuff.
I'll start.
I share a small apartment with my husband, and there's no spare corner to set up a dedicated work space. Instead, I keep my supplies mobile. Everything I need to make my basic products fits into this little kit, plus the beading tray and MtG game mat. I've been caught mailling at Starbucks, the local Irish pub, and during my lunch break at work. The rest of my rings and supplies hide away in the cupboard above the bath towels. I will someday have an extra room for crafty things, but for now I have student debt.

I keep my "workspace" kind of mobile too: I have a ton of containers and plastic cases filled with beads, I keep my string on bobbins in another plastic case, and I keep my hemp in a bag. I usually keep all of this in a basket and haul it out when needed!
Also, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who crafts in public places ;) I've been known to go around with half-finished knotted friendship bracelets attached to my knees (since I use a safety pin)! I will knot anywhere and everywhere!
My work shop is my whole living room. I have yarn for days with jewelry and accessories on my wall on display like its a retail store. I have people stopping by sometime to place order. I love my work area but I do need more room .
