Do I Need A Credit Card As A Seller?

momoxwaru posted May 28, 2012 17:06

I was just wondering if I needed to have a credit card to actually sell on Storenvy. Because it says that PayPal takes a credit card fee when I sell an item but is that from the person that's buying from ME? Thanks in advance. I'm so excited to open my shop. :)

Mary, visit the help section, all the info is contained therein that spot of awesomeness. :)

Momoxwaru - No, you need to have a paypal account. What it means it that the Storenvy takes a small fee from your profit to use Paypal's services.

Oh I see. But of course, that fee from what I read is pretty small...barely even effective if I were to sell something I guess. Also, I'm also new to PayPal, so in order to utilize it for my Storenvy; I should have a bank account and debit card linked to my PayPal to store sales and things? o:

I would visit Paypal's help section to be sure, but I know you can have them send you a check instead of depositing it into your bank, or get a loaded card from them with your amount on it. The fees from Paypal are tiny, and not much to worry about as far as business expenses go, really.
