Most screen printers will print with water based inks if you're willing to pay the extra. I highly recommend Threadbird for that, they are top dog when it comes to screen printing.
There are lots of options as far as organic shirts go, American Apparel has some, so does just about every other t-shirt blank brand out there. Just do some research and you'll find a bunch.
I've been using Econsious: http://www.econscious.net/
They only do organic, made in the US and all that good stuff :)
Since I print everything myself I can't really recommend a printer but I've heard great things about Threadbirid, and they're the original Storenvy printer so they're solid.
oh mellow, thanks guys. crossURheart do you use eco-friendly paints?
Yes, that being water-based inks.
ok thanks! i love econscious, i've just been waiting to save up enough money to order some shirts!
Hey Susie, I print all of my stuff! I co-own a shop in Orange County, CA. So that would be close to you which is more eco-friendly of course. I suggest using Anvil Sustainable or 100% certified organic tees for your line. We print using water based inks on a manual press.
shoot me an email I would love to hear form you!
