This post is a lifesaver literally. My Ragdoll https://ragdollcatlife.com/can-ragdoll-go-outside/ is such a trusting goof that I’ve worried about letting him outside. I now understand that his pedigree fluff and friendly nature make him super vulnerable traffic, strangers, even poisoned food laid out by jerks. Keeping him indoors definitely feels safer, especially knowing their lifespan really drops outside. But I love the middle ground solutions: secured balconies, harness walks, or a cat-safe garden. I live in a more crowded area, so I’ll lean into indoor fun and maybe try a harness walk someday. Great balance of safety and enrichment here!
