These soft versatile little retro accessories won't pull or catch in your hair.
This listing is for one Handknit 1980s style hair Scrunchie in pure cotton measuring approximately 13cm (4.75 inches) in diameter.
Please note that as these are handknit and I cut the internal elastic myself, there may be very slight variations in diameter.
The colours currently shown here are completed ready to ship and include blue, purple, orange, Aqua and pink but I have cotton yarn in all the colours of the rainbow and beyond, so feel free to message me if you can't see the colour you like or just add your preference in the notes to seller/customisation section at checkout and I'll knit them up.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, I certainly do! Please note that I am based in Australia and that when ordering outside of Australia or New Zealand additional customs duties and/or tariffs may be charged by your country. How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 14 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of the local postal service.
International shipping delivery times vary between 2 and 12 weeks dependent on your location.
Do you ship to EU countries?
Vintage Meg Knits no longer ships to countries that are part of the EU.
The European Union is a group of 27 countries in Europe. (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden)
Beginning July 1st 2021 online sellers are required to collect and remit VAT taxes to European countries.
This is not a straight forward process and not something we are currently set up to collect and/or remit to the appropriate authorities.
For the time being, any orders from the countries listed above will be refunded.
Customs Fees
Please note that international orders (outside Australia) may be subject to additional customs fees or duties that are out of our control.The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties and fees where applied by their country.
US Tariffs
As I am shipping from Australia, orders to the US will incur a 10% tariff which is required by US customs to be prepaid. If required, I will contact you following purchase to arrange this prepayment.
Lost or stolen packages
Once an order has been deposited with Australia Post, I no longer have control of the package. As such, we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages. I am happy to reach out to the postal service for you however, please contact your local Post Office first for these rare instances/situations, as they often require the recipient to lodge a claim if your parcel cannot be located.
Returns
I want you to love your handmade item as much as I have loved creating it for you but if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, I do offer exchanges for similar items to the same value by arrangement.
Items must be unworn, in the same condition that you received them and in the original packaging and postmarked within 14 days of receipt of your order.
We do not accept returns for change of mind and sale and discount items are considered final sale.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If 14 days have gone by since receipt of your order and you have not made contact to arrange return of the item, unfortunately I can’t offer you an exchange.

As a result, many of my creations are one of a kind due to the availability of vintage yarn. When unable to source true vintage materials, I substitute the nearest modern knitting equivalent.
