Sundae Girls - I Want Candy by Fawn Gehweiler Once again Necessaries Toy Foundation sets a new record for the amount of time (6 years) taken to complete a project..."I Want Candy" the first of the 3 sundae girls figures based on original artwork by Miss Fawn Gehweiler and sculpted by hotshit, Dave Pressler is now ready for human consumption... Standing nearly 14 inches tall with 5 points of articulation and packaged in a rather snappy box "I Want Candy" is being released in an edition of 500... Fawn Gehweiler's signature character based paintings, installations and works on paper have exhibited in galleries around the world and appear in a number of prominent private collections. Originally from Hawaii and currently based in the Pacific Northwest, her work combines the influence of a bohemian upbringing and sartorial escapism. Once described by The Face magazine as "the visual equivalent of candyfloss peppered with broken glass, delicious yet dangerous" and widely considered a major influence in the recent explosion of young feminine art in the United States, her work hinges on a delicate balance of past and present, building obsessive narratives through personal artifacts that reflect the imaginary worlds of little girls, treading the fine line between wide eyed innocence and dark fairy tales. FAQs & Polices

Why Discordia?

It sounds pretty, and very in-crowd. Which really sums up the items we carry since most of it is cute and you have to be in-the-know when viewing our selection of unique artist produced and manufactured art toys.

And we wanted a name that could cover a wide range of goods where nothing would seem out of place and we could achieve maximum variety of art, books, toys, stickers and more.

Why is your Logo and Apple with a letter 'K' on it?

It is the 'Apple of Discord'. The 'K' is for 'Kalliste' meaning 'For the Most Beautiful'. According to myth, it was used to create confusion and strife.

Discordia Culture Shop is an 'Apple Of Discord' in a crass corporate world by helping Creatives reach the public and denting the corporate bottom line as much as possible.

The only rebellion left in a strip-mall world is starting your own business and supporting independent businesses whenever possible.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

YES! We ship everywhere on Earth!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 1 and 2 weeks.

Pre-Orders may take an additional 1-2 weeks. And any special Made-To-Order / Based-On-Orders items may take and much as 3 months for Artists to manufacture prior to being shipped out by us.

Basically, the longer it takes for an item to arrive factors into its value and rarity. Good things to those who wait.

Do you have Wholesale?

YES! We are a Store and a Factory.

Many of our product lines we carry are in-house productions from our studio Discordia Merchandising. [Which also offers custom production to the public. So hit us us about your needs.]
