Please read everything listed below and agree to our terms and conditions before purchasing anything or placing an order in our store. If you do not agree with any or all of these terms and conditions, do not purchase anything or place an order with us. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without warning.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
NO. Mauled By A Bear Records does NOT accept orders placed from outside the US nor do we ship to addresses in Hawaii, Alaska or military bases. Shipping to Hawaii is too costly right now and mail to Alaska often gets lost or is undeliverable due to weather and/or terrain. Delivery may also be delayed in Alaska due to the aforementioned conditions. We also do not accept orders being shipped to any and all U.S. military bases for the same reason, as even though it is technically U.S. soil, the USPS charges international rates for U.S. military bases overseas. We exclude Continental U.S. military bases due to poor postal service to those locations after many lost and/or undeliverable packages and orders. College or University Boxes/address may also be cancelled at our discretion, but may not be immediately cancelled.
We do NOT ship nor accept orders placed from over seas or internationally. You will be refunded minus any Paypal costs we are charged. Once again, DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER IF YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS NOT INSIDE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (NOT INCLUDING HAWAII, ALASKA AND U.S. MILITARY BASES). YOU WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS ANY PAYPAL FEES WE ARE CHARGED FROM YOU TRANSACTION, AS WE ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE FOR CUSTOMER(S) ERROR.

Order Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any and all order(s) for any and all of the following reason(s), but not limited to the following reasons. If this happens you will receive a refund via Paypal, as per our store policy. If you do not agree with this please do not place an order with us in our store. We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time.
Order cancellations can/will be done for and is not limited to any and all of the following reasons:
- item(s) are out stock
- order placed from outside the USA
- shipping address is to a PO or APO box.
- shipping is to a military base
- shipping address is suspicious and/or fake
- customer name is suspicious/fake
- shipping address does not show any house/apartment complexes/ PO Box location (i.e. empty, undeveloped natural space) at the given location after a Mapquest and Google Maps search (which we do for every order).
- shipping address is a college/university mailbox (because school mail services are notorious for losing and mishandling any type of mail)
- incorrect/incomplete shipping info
- non matching shipping addresses in order form and Paypal
- person placing the order is different than the Paypal account used (i.e. using a friend's Paypal account to pay but using your own credit or debit card)
- different email addresses used on order form and Paypal (i.e. email addresses to not match)
- we are not comfortable with shipping to you
-if an email is sent 1 day after placing an order asking if your order has shipped
- a suspected fraudulent order, a fraudulent order, any order we feel is suspicious or we feel suspicious about
- if you pay by e-check.
- if you leave vulgar, sarcastic or rude notes on your order form or payment form
- if your shipping address shows that there is no house or building at the location
- if your shipping address is around the corner, on the same street, next door, up/down the street or in the same city as a known scam and/or con artist
- if your shipping address is in the Jacksonville, FL, Orange Park, FL or St Johns, FL area(s).
Orders cancellations will be made for any and all of the above reasons, even if a shipping address is confirmed with Paypal.
If your order has been cancelled for any reason and you decide to place another, second order for the same items or any other orders in our store they will also be cancelled. Once you order is cancelled we will not accept any future orders from you, the shipping address or the payment email. If you order is cancelled because of an issue with your shipping address, we will NOT ship to an alternate address. There are NO exceptions to any and all of these policies.

Order Limit for Stickers = 5
As of November 1, 2012, we have to set a limit on the amount of stickers placed in a single order. Since people think ordering along the lines of 10, 15 or even 20 stickers in a single order all for $1 shipping is acceptable, we have to set the limit at 5 stickers per order. This pertains to orders containing only stickers. If you place an order for a CD, vinyl record, or poster there is no limit on the amount of stickers you can order.
This is due to multiple factors, mainly the weight and size restrictions USPS sets for certain mail options. We do not feel that shipping stickers via priority mail or parcel post is logical or in the best interest of our customers and ourselves because the shipping costs would have to be greatly increased. Also, with high amounts of stickers in a single order the packaging requirements change, which will also increase shipping costs on our end which we would have to pass on to our customers. We feel that $1 shipping per order for up to 5 stickers is more than fair. But as people abuse the system it forces us to change our policies to prevent further abuse.
If you want to order more than 5 stickers you need to place multiple orders depending on how many stickers you want to buy. For example, if you want to order 10 sticker you need to place 2 separate orders with 5 sticker per order. If you want to order 14 stickers you need to place 3 separate orders, spreading out the amount of stickers per order as evenly as possible with no more than 5 stickers per order.
If people do not follow these guidelines your order will be cancelled no questions asked.

How long will it take to receive my order?
We only ship orders on business days (Monday-Friday) typically in 3-5 business days. Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) do not count as business days. In some instances it may take longer to process and ship your order.
Once shipped most orders can take anywhere from 2 to 21 days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. WE CAN NOT CONTROL HOW LONG THE USPS (POST OFFICE) TAKES TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE(S)/ORDER(S) ONCE THEY ARE DROPPED OFF OR PICKED UP BY THE POST OFFICE. We ship via media mail or first class mail. Media mail may take up to 21 days to arrive depending on location, first class mail is usually quicker.
Most items we carry, which are records and CD's, ship via media mail with delivery confirmation/tracking. Some smaller items such as stickers and posters may/will not ship with delivery confirmation due to the size and weight of the parcel being sent through the USPS.

What is this store's return and exchange policy?
No returns or exchanges accepted on any products. Everything is sold as is and every item is described accurately. If you are unsure of the condition of an item either contact us directly or do not purchase it. Again, everything is sold as is. We are also not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Most* items ship with delivery confirmation.
*Stickers and some other smaller items are the only item that do not ship with delivery confirmation.

Make sure you enter your correct shipping address and make sure it's completely accurate
Recently we have seen a wave in customers place an order and either do not have a shipping address entered at all or have glaring mistakes in the address entered; such as no street number, no zip code or nothing for the street they live on (St., Rd., Ave., etc) We do Mapquest and Google Maps searches of each and every address for each and every order placed in our store, and if the shipping address entered either in the order form or in Paypal does not appear for any reason your order will be cancelled. We are not going to be held responsible for customer error and customers who knowingly provide false information.
In these instances we may contact you via email to sort out any issues with your shipping address. If a response is not received within TWO (2) business days we will be forced to cancel your order. Since this problem has been increasing on a daily basis, we may cancel your order without contacting you. As of September 1, 2012 if we feel an address is suspicious in any way we reserve the right to cancel orders no questions asked.
Also make you you have a shipping address on file with Paypal. It helps speed up the time your order will be processed.

Fake Addresses
As of June 1, 2012, any orders that have a fake shipping address will be cancelled no questions asked. If we go to print your shipping label and we get error messages saying "this zip code is not correct," "this zip code is not in the USPS database" or "this address can not be located" your order will be cancelled no questions asked. If we are inconvenienced by not being able to print a shipping label for your order, your order will be cancelled no questions asked. Your order will not be uncancelled for any reason or circumstance.
Also included in this are people who try to circumvent the shipping charges and/or our international shipping policy by entering in 'USA' under country but listing an international address.

Ordering Gifts or Ordering for a Friend
Lately we have seen an increase in orders that are paid for in one name and email account, but are shipped to a completely different name and the contact email for the order is also different. This may be because the order is a gift, you are ordering for a friend or it is a spousal/familial account. There is no problem with this, but it does raise red flags. For any and/or all of those reasons, in order to protect ourselves from fraud, we reserve the right to further investigate the order.
If something suspicious is discovered at any point, or if either person associated with the order do not respond to our emails within several days, we will cancel the order no questions asked.
To speed up order processing, make sure everything (names, email accounts, shipping/billing addresses) associated with the order corresponds and/or matches.

DON'T Pay With E-Checks - DON'T PAY WITH E-CHECKS
Even though we frown upon it we have no choice in the matter because Paypal allows such a payment. But be aware that if you pay for an order with an e-check your order may be cancelled and refunded. Also be aware that e-checks take a long time to clear, anywhere between one week to one month for the check to clear and be deposited as a payment in our Paypal account.
So if you pay with an e-check expect your order to not ship and be delayed, since we have not yet been paid for your order. We are not shipping orders that are placed and are not paid for, even if you request or demand it. If you request or demand your order ship without us receiving cleared payment your order will be cancelled, no ifs ands or buts.
To avoid any delays with your order shipping or any issues in general with your order DO NOT pay for your order in our store with an e-check. We reserve the right to cancel any and all orders.

DO NOT attempt to contact us at any other email address or via any other message. Any and all attempts of contact not directed towards the right avenue will be ignored, no ifs ands or buts.
We are a small business and it may take several days to reply back. If you have any questions about a product in our store or shipping method don't hesitate to ask. Tracking numbers (where applicable) will be delivered via email from Paypal and a Storenvy form email and are also visible in your Paypal accounts under the transaction.

Where is my tracking/delivery confirmation number?
We utilize USPS for all of orders and majority of our orders ship with delivery confirmation/USPS tracking. Once we have shipped your order you should receive a delivery confirmation/tracking number via email from PAYPAL, not from us. You may also receive a shipping notification from Storenvy, which may or may not contain a tracking/delivery confirmation number.
Before emailing us to ask for your tracking/delivery confirmation number, please check you email's spam or junk folder. The tracking/delivery confirmation number can also be found in your transaction history in Paypal.

Shipping & Handling
Shipping & Handling includes just that; shipping AND handling. We charge actual shipping cost plus any and all shipping materials needed to ship your order, plus handling charges which includes Paypal fees and time and money it takes to package and mail out your order. If you do not like these charges do not place an order with us. Shipping materials may include but is not limited to record mailers, bubble wrap, shipping peanuts, styrofoam padding inserts, cardboard mailer inserts, stamps, shipping labels, printer ink, pen ink, printer paper, any and all types of envelopes, delivery confirmation, insurance, bubble mailers, padded mailers, insulated mailers, poster tubes and tape. Paypal does charge the seller a fee for each and every transaction, which we need to account for and recoup in our shipping charges.
For example; if the price of an item is $10 before shipping and handling, we do not receive $10 for that item, we receive less than $10 in our Paypal account.

New USPS Shipping Rates as of 1/27/2013
As of January 27, 2013 the United States Post Office (USPS), the only shipping provider we use for our orders, has increased their postal rates. While the increase on most services we use (media mail and first class mail) did not increase enough to pass the increase on to our customers, other service rates have increased drastically, and as a result we need to raise our shipping rates to reflect those increase.
Heavier and irregularly sized objects that cannot be shipped via media or first class mail will see increased shipping rates in our store starting on January 25, 2013, two days prior to the USPS formally introducing their increased rates. This is because we may not get to ship your order before January 27, so we need to charge accurate shipping charges so we do not lose money and can remain in operation. Some shipping services are being removed from the USPS services list, which forces us to use alternative, more expensive shipping methods. Some services has increase two fold or as little as $3, which we need to account for in the shipping prices we charge our customers.
We do not overcharge on shipping, our shipping rates take into account actual postage rates PLUS the cost of shipping materials and Paypal fees associated with processing your order. While some online merchants charge exorbitant shipping prices, we feel that $4 for the first vinyl record, $3 for the first CD and $1 per sticker order at a limit of 5 stickers per order is beyond fair.
We figure our shipping prices based on the USPS shipping calculator plus the weight and size of the package for your order.
