• Who are we?

  We all want the finer things, but what about the <i>much</i> finer things? MFT is a variable collection of previously loved vintage and newer items. Everything you find here was sourced in the Pacific Northwest with a lot of patience and time.

• Where does this store ship from?

  Items ship from lovely little Portland, OR.

• How do you ship?

  I ship via good ol' USPS in the manner that is most cost efficient depending on how much you paid for shipping. All orders will be shipped in recycled packaging <i>when available.</i> If you prefer new packaging, please be sure to make a note of this when you place your order. If you can recycle even further, hooray!

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  All orders will ship within 2 business days (48 hours) of receipt of payment unless otherwise specified. Domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.

• What is this store's return and exchange policy?

  At this time we cannot offer refunds in the case of a lost or stolen package- crossing my fingers (so tightly!) this is never an issue. If you feel I have misrepresented an item please contact me within 7 days of receiving it. I will issue an in store credit in the amount of original payment (minus shipping) once the item is returned to me. Please keep in mind most items listed have been previously loved, and some small flaws may go unnoticed, though I make it a point to list all flaws to the best of my ability. I want you to love what I send you- if you are not happy, let me know!

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  Canada, definitely. Other countries- please contact me directly at nicholealvarado@gmail.com with details of the item/s you'd like and country information- I'll get back to you with a quote asap!

• How do you acquire items in your inventory?

  The answer to this question varies. Things may be from estate sales, thrift/charity/resale stores, friends & family or my own closet. Regardless of the source, I choose quality items I am immediately drawn to, so most items in the shop greatly reflect my personal taste and may show no regard for trends or seasons.

• Can I expect clothing to be laundered before you ship?

  Most items have been laundered according their care tags. Some things may be dry clean only, and in such case have been steamed if appropriate. Hanging dry-clean only garments in fresh air for a couple hours never hurts if there is a particularly pesky musty odor (as long as they're not in direct sunlight). Stains and odors will be listed in the item's description if applicable. Please take care when laundering your items. Follow care instructions found on the tags. Some items may be missing care tags-I recommend hand washing such items to err on the side of caution, but please be sure to test a fabric's reaction to water on a small, hidden area.

• Other details:

  COLORS: Please note colors may vary from monitor to monitor- they might be a little more vivid or a little more washed out. I have done my best to represent colors accurately and will mention in the description if they vary greatly from what is shown. SIZING & MEASUREMENTS: I lay all items flat when measuring. Shoulder to shoulder and length measurements are as-is. To get bust, waist, and hip measurements, I multiply the flat measurement by two (to get circumference). Please be sure to take into consideration how loose or snug you'd like a garment to be when looking at these numbers. If you have any questions re: measurements, please do not hesitate to ask! Please feel free to contact me if you would like additional dimensions. Shoulder to shoulder = shoulder seam to shoulder seam Bust = under arm to under arm Waist = smallest part of the natural waist Hips = largest part of the torso, a few inches below natural waist Sleeves = sleeve length, shoulder seam to wrist Length = neck to bottom hem STORAGE: All items are stored hanging in a pet free, smoke free home.
