• How do I order a custom item?

  There are a couple of ways to order custom items. One option is to select the "Custom" variant under an item you would like and leave a detailed comment on the checkout page with the specifications of your custom order. However if you would like to see the item before you pay a dime, this second option might be best for you. Simple message Mau Works at www.mauworks.com/shop/ with the details of an item you would like. The item will then be created and a photo of the item will be emailed to you. If you like the item, it will be added to the store and then can be purchased. If you do not like the item or change your mind, not a problem, you are under no obligation to purchase the item.

• What is Mau Works?

  Mau Works is a line of handmade knitted and crocheted products. Custom items are also available with your choice in size, color and pattern. All items are crafted in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. Be sure to stop by the official Mau Works site at www.mauworks.com!

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  We sure do! Please understand that Mau Works is not responsible for any duties or charges customs may have. During inspection, your package may be opened. All orders will be marked as merchandise, not as gifts.

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Once payment is received, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks. Please understand that custom items are made to order and delivery time may vary. All orders are shipped through USPS (unless otherwise indicated) and include a tracking number at no additional charge. Each customer will also be given access to the Mau Works order tracking site (login credentials are sent out at time of purchase). Feel free to contact Mau Works before placing any orders for an estimated delivery date.

• Can I make a purchase in person?

  Absolutely! If you plan to be in the Greater Boston area, feel free to drop us a line and we can meet in person, rather than waiting for shipping. We are always on the go, so be sure to check out the calendar at www.mauworks.com to see which city/country Mau Works will be in next!

• The item I want is sold out...

  Don't Worry! Simply contact Mau Works and we will let you know as soon as the item is back in stock. Remember, custom items are always available, but are made to order so delivery may take longer.

• Free Items & Donations to Charities

  Mau Works is always looking for charities to donate to. If you are part of a charitable organization or know of a low income expectant parent, please send Mau Works a detailed message to request a free Mau Works Baby Care Package. Packages include: baby booties, beanies and more. Custom packages also available. See www.mauworks.com/charity/ for more information.

• Who is behind Mau Works?

  All items are handcrafted by designer and Mau Works founder, Maureen. Maureen is a passionate crafter who strives for excellence. She began her crochet journey back in 1995, then six years later, learned the craft of knitting. It wasn't until 2011 when Maureen decided to share her talents with the world and created Mau Works. What started as an everyday hobby, turned into one of her greatest joys. Each item is carefully handmade with love.
