• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

• Where do you get your bones & skulls?

• Are the bones & skulls roadkill?

  Excerpted from our distributors website: ETHICS: All natural bone specimens are legally and ethically obtained. Suppliers World Wide send skulls that would otherwise be discarded or destroyed, as they are collected. We do not condone and will not support poaching of animals, nor do we approve of destroying an animal solely for the purpose of gaining an osteological item. Our suppliers and their sources obtain osteological material from natural & predator deaths, road kills, food source by-products in exotic regions, legal hunting & trapping operations, and from attrition in zoological gardens. You can be assured of, and take comfort in knowing that your purchase conserve treasures and promote the ethical utilization of limited resources.

• Are the bones & skulls sanitary?

  Excerpted from our distributors website: CLEANING: Each specimen at Skulls Unlimited International Inc. is carefully prepared with the use of dermestid beetles. Museums and universities have been using this method for nearly 100 years. Skulls Unlimited has made this museum quality preparation available to all public and private interests. Finally, each specimen is degreased and whitened using a chemical process.

• Is your jewelry safe for people with skin allergies?

  Unless otherwise noted, most chain is repurposed so is not guaranteed to be nickel or copper free.

• Will the wire dull or tarnish?

  Wire or chain may dull after wear due to the oils in the skin, moisture or a variety of reasons. We recommend a jewelry cleaning cloth or jewelry polish to restore to it's original lustre.
