I design and create the monkeys in my shop. Each starts as a sketch, and I make it a real toy! I enjoy coming up with my own characters as much as I enjoy turning famous characters into sock monkey versions.
I started making monkeys in 2006. I listed my first one on Etsy, in my shop Zparkleys (Now SockMonkeySupply). From there it just kind of snowballed into my own pattern, my own twists, and before I knew it I was paving roads in the Sock Monkey community. No one made skeletons and zombies, witches, sugar skulls, etc. I have loved watching this community grow. I try to keep my key characters available every year.
My monkeys are made completely by me. They start as socks, and I carefully craft them into the lovable friends you see here. They make a great gift and will last for years. I use strong threads for assembly along with my own pattern, to ensure strength so that these little friends last through quite a bit of loving and snuggling.

Do you repair items? Do you offer a Warranty?
I repair monkeys for free. All you pay is shipping fare to and from me... If your monkey rips just after he's bought, during normal use. I will pay to ship it back [and possibly reimburse your shipping to me, if the damage is my own fault], or replace it, for free. If he's abused, and I can fix him, I will... but you must pay his fare both ways. If he's well loved, and need some rejuvenation, if i can fix it, i will... but you must pay his fare both ways. -
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Absolutely! I've been shipping worldwide since 1995. -
How long will it take to receive my order?
Ready-to-go items ship, usually within 2-4 days. If your item is made to order, it can take up to 1 week, and sometimes 2, if the load is high. If you need a rush delivery, contact me. I'm no stranger to expressing gifts. Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
