Shalev Basya Fine Art

3 Sales Ships from Seattle, WA

I recently started painting with coffee and tea kind of by accident. At first I was just doing watercolors. Then I decided that I wanted to do a painting of a coffee cup and thought wouldn't it cool if it was actually painted with coffee, and that began my journey into painting with coffee and tea. It's a very interesting medium and I've done it in a watercolor style.

Store FAQ

  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

Yes. You have the option of either US Priority International or US Priority Express International. Regular Priority takes 6 to 10 business days to most major markets, and Express takes 3 to 5 business days. This is however is an estimate according to US Postal Service and may take longer if held at customs or your postal service.
  • How long will it take to receive my order?

I ship my orders using a Priority Flat Rate, which takes 1-3 business days from the day it ships. You also have the option of Priority Express, which takes 2 business days. Please understand that these are estimates given by the US Postal Service. Every order will have a tracking number.
  • How long will it take to receive a response to my question/issue?

I try to respond to everything within 24 hours. I am an Orthodox Jew, and therefore any message sent to me on Friday or Saturday may take longer. Also if there are any Jewish holidays I may take longer to respond, but I will get back with you as soon as I am able.
  • How should I frame my work?

You would frame it just like you would any regular picture, behind glass. It's up to you whether you want it matted or not. The best glass is one that offers UV protection. I've found these most often in the documents section. These will protect it from sunlight and prevent fading.
  • Do your paintings have a protective layer or varnish?

I use a spray varnish by Golden with UV protection. You should still frame them behind glass so that they are protected from water and other liquid.
